AIRBORNE SOUND INSULATION

IMPACT INSULATION

BUILDING

PR 3,5

DESCRIPTION

PR 3.5 acoustic insulation is a complex two-layer system consisting of a LAMIX 3.5-kg/m² heavy polymer sheet and an 18-mm absorbent textile fibre bonded to one side.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Material suitable for improving acoustic insulation applied directly to building walls and floor slabs, as a complement to improving an insulation system.

In the case of box-in-box complete systems, it can be used for decoupling the building structure from the new insulation system.

Surfaces must be smooth and clean. The material is bonded with contact glue, which is to be stirred before use and applied at a rate of 300 gr/m² on the textile fibre and 200 gr/m² on the surface to be treated.

Before pushing the surfaces together, the glue should be allowed some time to dry (about 15 minutes at room temperature of 20 ºC). When laying various sheets, it is necessary not to leave any gaps between joints and to use the overlap provided in the material in order to leave the surface of the heavy layer completely sealed.

On PVC downspouts, use clamps or adhesive banding to seal all joints.

INSTALLATION EXAMPLES

Lining for building walls

Impact soundproofing in floating floors

Lining for ceiling slabs
