AIRBORNE SOUND INSULATION

IMPACT INSULATION

BUILDING

LAMIX IGN

DESCRIPTION

LAMIX IGN is a synthetic acoustic barrier (without asphalt) of high density and low thickness for improving sound insulation.

Ideal for adding mass, correcting resonant frequencies, decoupling and reducing surface vibration.

LAMIX IGN is a special certified formula with a very low contribution to fire.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Reaction to fire: Euroclass Bs1d2 – test on exposed membrane.

Reaction to fire: Euroclass Bs1d0 – between two plasterboards

LAMIX IGN offers the same acoustic and laying properties as LAMIX, but with a much more fire-resistant formulation. It is, therefore, recommended for more demanding areas in this respect.

Examples:

Covering only one plasterboard facing the interior of the air chamber where electrical cables may run.

Places with fire risk.

Inclusion inside modular panels, in sandwich systems or acoustic doors with appropriate fire certification, where there is a need to increase sound insulation without reducing fire performance.

INSTALLATION EXAMPLES

Reinforcement of sheet metal roofs
